PART 1: GENERAL
SARPCO Rubber Decking (Poured-in-Place) has become more and more popular over the past years. We can apply hard wearing 2 component polyurethane mixed with EPDM granules to these water play areas in many different colours. This material is hard wearing and lends itself to the variety of games played.
Whether your Play Area is old or new our specialist MT-EPDM coat can transform your surface into the Play Area it should be. To enhance your Play Area or promote your club you can choose from following colours: Yellow, Blue, Red, Green, Brown, Orange, Beige , or mix , to complement your own individual environment.
All our Rubber Systems are made from the highest quality polyurethane materials which are frequently tested to ensure durability and the right slip resistance.
PART 2: MATERIAL
A) Basemat Adhesive:
1-Primer: A single component, moisture cured polyurethane.
2- Binder: A MDI based, elastomeric, polyurethane pre-polymer with low order and exceptional weathering and binding attributes.
B) Basemat Sealer: Seal coat contains a two-component polyurethane compound.
C) Wear Coat: A two-component self-leveling polyurethane compound.
D) EPDM granules mixed with a two component system consisting of a single component, MDI-based polyurethane binder, mixed with a polyurethane base color paste.
E) Wear Coat EPDM topcoats consisting of: UV–stable E.P.D.M. rubber granules combined together with a highly sophisticated polyurethane binder. Designed and installed exclusively by our Company.

PART 4: SCOPE OF WORK
Installer will inspect the existing surface for dryness, proper tolerance, and possible contamination, and report any discrepancies to General Contractor in writing. All Work required to put concrete substrate in acceptable condition shall be the responsibility of the General Contractor. Substrate shall be broom cleaned by the General Contractor.
Cure Time: No traffic or other trades shall be allowed on the surface for a period of one week following completion to allow for complete and proper cure of the finish.
4.3 OTHER TRADES
It shall be the responsibility of the general contractor to protect the surface from damage by other trades before acceptance by the owner’s authorized agent.
No smoking, open flames or sparks from electrical equipment or any other source shall be permitted during the installation process, or in areas where materials are stored.
PART 5: MAINTENANCE
No wax should be applied to EPDM finish. Regular cleaning can be carried out with a water/detergent mixture using a wet mop. If necessary, use a nylon brush in order to remove heavy dirt. Dust can be removed with a damp mop, which has been sprayed with a very light water/detergent mixture. Major dirt marks (from black shoe soles, etc.) can be wiped off with polyurethane thinner or acetone.
PART 6: WARRANTY
Saudi Rubber Products Co. offers an express One (1) year warranty that its products are free from any defects in material and workmanship, that its products shall meet all specifications and that the products shall perform effectively.
Sarpco Installations, warranties that during the warranty period the resilient surfacing shall not harden, or exhibit any signs of excessive deterioration except normal wear and tear. All other warranties, including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose are expressly excluded. The sole remedy against the seller will be the replacement or repair of defective goods, or at seller’s option, credit may be issued not exceeding the selling price of the defective goods.
